ACIDIFIER

Nowadays an alternative to antibiotics in animal husbandry is being intensively sought all over the world. One of the real directions, along with the use of pro-, pre- and phytobiotics, is the use of organic and inorganic acids, as well as their salts, in animals and poultry nutrition.

Acid-based feed additives have antidiarrheal, antibacterial and growth-stimulating effects due to the inhibition of pathogenic microflora and improvement of metabolic processes in the body.

In contrast to antibiotics, one of the main advantages of acids and their salts is the possibility of using them for the prevention of gastrointestinal diseases during the entire growing period (without a withdrawal period).

Organic acids are also widely used to protect the feed from contamination by fungal microorganisms and, as a consequence, to improve its hygienic properties and prevent mycotoxicosis
